About Jim and Robin
Jim and Robin Landers have been working together
photographing weddings since they were married in July of
1994. They both started photographing weddings
independently years before they met in June of 1991.
Combined they have over 30 years experience photographing
weddings.
• Jim
Landers graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science
in Photography in May of 1991 and has been making a
living with photography ever since. Jim also teaches
photography to Middle school and High school students of
the Northside I.S.D. (in San Antonio, TX) and has one-on-one adult
classes on weekday
evenings.
• Robin
Landers has been a professional portrait photographer
since 1990 and has won several awards for her work. She
is especially good with young children. Her patience truly is a
virtue.
Working together as a professional photographer team, Jim
and Robin Landers create your most cherished visual
memories. They have been described as patient and quick
in the same sentence. Even Kodak has
requested their work.
About your Bridal Portrait session
Your Bridal portrait session will be photographed at the
location of your choice. Such as the Dominion Country Club, San Antonio
Botanical Gardens, the McNay Art Institute, one of the missions, or even your
home, the choice is yours. Expect your Bridal portrait
session to last about an hour. We request that you
schedule your Bridal portrait session at least
one month prior to your wedding date.
About the Formal Wedding portraits
We will start one hour before the start of your wedding
photographing the portraits that do not require both the
Bride and the Groom (unless, of course, you want to part
with tradition). Therefore the Groom and his Groomsmen,
the ushers and the ring bearer should arrive about an
hour and fifteen minutes before the start of the ceremony
just like the Bridal party normally does.
At the conclusion of the ceremony when the guests have
cleared the sanctuary, everyone who will be in the formal
wedding photographs will return. This will include the
entire wedding party, the Officiant(s), both parents,
grandparents, etc. Depending on what you want, please
allow 30 minutes for the formal wedding portraits.
